I describe myself as an experienced therapist, not a stiff professional. I love my work and I have a big heart. I don’t know how to "do" therapy without being transparent and real. I am an endlessly curious person who loves to laugh (with the occasional snort), learn anything and everything, and explore myself, others and the world. I recharge with quiet activities and spending time in nature.
I love finding binge worthy tv shows for my husband and I to watch. I love coffee and I am pretty sure that chocolate and peanut butter were made for each other. I'm a mom to an adult daughter who constantly humbles me and reminds me of how little I actually know. I have experience of being part of a blended family, as my parents divorced when I was a child and I experienced my own divorce after 15 years of marriage. If I wasn’t a therapist, I would be working with animals.
I grew up on a farm and currently, I have two lovable dogs and a sweet cat. Like many of you, my life is complicated, messy at times, and endlessly rich. I am always honored to be invited into my client’s lives and enjoy hearing from former clients as they reach important milestones.
It is important for you to know the quality of your provider, given the importance of our relationship.
